One of my oldest best friends was in Elkins. It was so nice to see Jarrod and his son Brooks. Some background, he used to live down the road from me. His family moved away to Florida when he was 4. He came home every summer to visit his Grandma so we kept in touch. The cool thing is that he now has a boy who is 3. Brooks and Ella got along so well.
When Brooks came in to the house he went up to Ella and gave her a hug. He tickled her and she tickled him and then they were off playing tag. We went to Burger King one day and to the pool another day.
They are back in Tallahassee now. Ella still talks about Brooks. She wants to invite him to her birthday!
