Update

I've been extremely busy so sorry for not too many updates lately.

Ella will start school next Wednesday. She is going to 3 days of preschool. I am excited for her. She will love it!!!

Cyrus is growing and growing! He is now 16 months old. He just got over an ear infection. Lately he has been getting up early... like 5:30! Way too early for me!

I took over as President of the MOMS club this upcoming month. It has already kept me pretty busy. I am excited for this new experience.

So we are off to Elkins for the labor day weekend! Have a great weekend!!!!!

1. I am also super excited about the new 90210 and One Tree Hill this fall... yes bringing back my teen days.

2. I still sometimes look in the closet before I go to bed. What am I going to do if someone jumps out!!

3. I used to be scared when I was little that someone was going to grab my ears so I would sleep with the covers all the way up even in the heat of summer.

4. Chris and I broke up at a Jimmy Buffet concert. We don't do well at concerts. He likes to listen and I like to talk (Chris says bitch and moan and complain.)

5. My high school boyfriend's family gave me carpet cleaner as a christmas gift because I always spilled things in their house.

6. I have a huge family. Too many to count! If I am anywhere in Elkins I can almost guarantee that I will see a family member.

Tour of WVU Football Facility

I organized through the Moms Club a tour of the WVU Football Facilities. It was a lot of fun! Of course most of the kids had no idea. They loved the last part... you will see that soon. All of the moms were super excited of course!!! We were all dressed in our Mountaineer geer.

We first went to the Hall of Traditions. Here is us infront of the Fiesta Bowl trophy.

We had a great time. We spent almost 3 hours there. The kids were great! We did go on the submarine. It was very intersting! I can't believe people could live on that!

Friend from Florida

One of my oldest best friends was in Elkins. It was so nice to see Jarrod and his son Brooks. Some background, he used to live down the road from me. His family moved away to Florida when he was 4. He came home every summer to visit his Grandma so we kept in touch. The cool thing is that he now has a boy who is 3. Brooks and Ella got along so well.

When Brooks came in to the house he went up to Ella and gave her a hug. He tickled her and she tickled him and then they were off playing tag. We went to Burger King one day and to the pool another day.

They are back in Tallahassee now. Ella still talks about Brooks. She wants to invite him to her birthday!

Our Trip to Elkins

We had a nice time in Elkins. My parents have two apple trees in their backyard. Cyrus loved them. He would eat a whole apple.

Ella had a great time playing with her friends Max and Brooks. We took care of grandpa. He is doing well. He is able to get around but he still can't bend his leg. He has a doctor's appt. on Thursday. So hopefully something will change!
