Happy Birthday to Ella!

Tomorrow Ella will be turning 5. I can't believe she is so big now! She has grown into such a wonderful, caring, and kind little girl. She was always a good baby and now she is a great almost 5 yr old! I feel so proud and a happy to have her in my life. Chris and I feel very lucky!

A funny story to add...

Ella told me that she has 2 boys that want to marry her (Kyle and Benjamin). She said, "I don't know who I'm going to marry!" So today she decided they would have a race at her birthday party to see who wins!

Ella's first day of Kindergarten

Here are some pictures of Ella's first day of Kindergarten. She loves it! She really likes her teacher as do I. Ella is always is excited when she comes home. On her 4th day of school she decided she was ready to walk herself to the classroom. I was not as confident! She of course found her way just fine. I of course watched her the entire way! She is my big girl!

Ella is off to Kindergarten

We finally made our decision. Ella is off to kindergarten this fall. She is really excited. We are excited for her. She is doing great with reading. I am glad we decided to send her this year. Be sure to look at my blog when September comes around. I'll post some back to school pictures!

We took the kids fishing today. It was a lot of fun. At first it was a little frustrating because it is hard for a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old to be patient! Once they caught a fish they were ready to try again. They both caught 2 fish. I got pictures that I'll post soon!

Finally an update!!

Ella has been playing t-ball through boparc. She loves it! Which doesn't surprise me because she always enjoys everything she does. Very rarely does this girl complain. She is a blessing from God that is for sure. I posted some pictures below from t-ball. Chris and I have a big decision to make this summer concerning Ella. Her b-day is Sept. 20th so that means she misses the cut-off date for Kindergarten. If your b-day is in Sept. you can test in. We decided to have her take the test. As no surprise to me, she did awesome. Ella had to be in the 90th percentile and she was in the 99th percentile. The psychologist who administered the test said "the results are very accurate and would indicate school success". We are more worried about later since she will be the youngest in her class. Such a hard decision. We hate to hold her back since I know she will be ready...but who knows what the future will hold. I'll update later as to our decision.

Cyrus is growing and speaking so better every day. He know trys to say any word. Lately his favorites has been Oh Man and Thunder, rain... He is a talker! He still loves his cars and trucks. If I counted how many he has it would probably be around 40 or 50. But everytime he gets a new one he is so excited!

So there is a quick update. I'll try to post more later.

Farm/Ice cream

Karin and I took the kids out for some ice cream. It was Cy's first time to have his own cone. He loved it! I got some great pictures.

I feel like I haven't blogged for awhile so here you go...

We had Cyrus' birthday party last weekend. It went really well. We had it at our church. They have a big gym that is attached to the kitchen. It was a great space for the kids to run around. I will attach some pictures that Nicole took for me but I haven't gotten around to downloading the others. I will soon! I made the cake...it was very difficult but it was very rewarding! I plan on making Ella's next. She wants to do a Minnie Mouse party. I'm not sure about all that black icing!

I took the kids to DQ for ice cream today along with my friend Karin and her kids. I got some cute pictures...again... not downloaded yet- check later I'll post them. It was the first time Cy ate his own ice cream cone. He did rather well...not too much mess.
