It's a Monday!

Hello all-

If you didn't know already on Mondays I watch my friend Karin's two kids. It is always an exciting day! Both of the kids are great and really easy to watch. But as you can imagine it gets crazy during part of the day!!! I always say it goes from calm to crazy in a matter of seconds.

Ella loves having her buddy Kyle over all day to play. Poor Rachael has to put up with Cyrus all day. He likes to sit on her and hit her in the head. He has already been in time-out once today and its not even 9:00! Here is a picture...

My 2 Kids

I took a picture of Cyrus in the same shirt as Ella in a previous picture I took more than 2 years ago.

I had a vistor!!!

My dad came down Thursday to get checked and admitted to the hospital for his surgery on Tuesday. We thought it was crazy to have him come so early but that is what the surgeon said. Well, he got admitted and then on Thursday (yes the same day as he was admitted) the medical doctor said... why are you in here so early?

Anyways, he was discharged at around 7:30 pm. He came home with me. Ella and I took care of granddad for the weekend. He wasn't much trouble. Cyrus kept bringing him all kinds of cars and books.

On Saturday I took him to get his bloodwork and then the rest of the family arrived. Ella was super excited because Max was here! They played in the pool and had a great time.

At around 4:00 pm dad went back to the hospital. He has a much bigger and better room this time. So I will update later when he has his surgery.

Ella has a blog site~

Chris had a good idea. I created Ella her own blog site. I type everything she tells me. So you can keep up with her school days!!

The peanut butter part is what her cousin Max calls her!

Ella is off to school!

Today was Ella's first day at pre-school. They have a 4 week summer program to get the kids used to being at school. She was fine! I walked her into the coat room and the teacher ask her is she was ready. She said, "Yes". Then she was off! My little girl is now so big! I posted a picture of her as a baby and now going to school!

Update on my dad

He is doing well at home. My mom is jealous because he gets the comfortable chair all day! When he goes to bed she gets the chair unless she goes to bed also.

He will be coming back to Morgantown on Thursday. If everything goes as well, his doctor will admit him to the hospital. He will have his surgery on Tuesday the 15th to fix the bone. He will have to stay 4 to 5 more days after his surgery. Then, he can recover! He can't put any weight on his leg for 3 months but I think he will be able to get around better. So keep him in your prayers!

A rainy weekend

I haven't blogged for awhile so I thought I would give an update. We traveled to Elkins on Friday morning. It rained all day! So we just hung out at my parents' house. On Saturday we went down to see the cars at the car show. Ella said, "We need a car mom." When we got ready to leave she said, "We haven't picked a car yet." She liked the pink one the best. I got to see my friend Heather who I haven't seen since I think last October! I was excited to see her.

We went to my brother's house for a picnic. Well, a rainy picnic. We ate inside. It was good food! If you don't know my sister-in-law Missy, let me tell you she can cook!! Yummy!!! Chris, Ella, and I watched the fireworks from my parents' house in the alley.

On Sunday yet another rainy picnic. The only good thing is we had about 100 people at my family picnic! I got to see a lot of my family. So on to my new week!
